For Christmas someone was kind enough to give me a bottle of the water of life. I can't recall having this before so I tasted it, well, wrote down what I tasted.

*Glen Moray   12 year  Elgin Classic   40%ABV
  -smells slight caramel and earthy
  -almost a grassy smell
-tastes chalky/earthy with a rubbery undertone
  -trails sour rubber
-with water - smells slight wood
  -tastes rubbery wood
-Better without water. It is a light, Speyside
